Call for Speakers - BLK INK Virtual Writer's Workshop (May 18-20, 2023)
By completing this form, you are confirming your interest in speaking at the BLK INK Virtual Writer's Workshop hosted by The Black Writers Workspace (BWW) and Direct2Author.com. This year's theme is ‘Straight FIRE! Writing to Inspire a New Generation of Readers'. The event will take place Thursday - Saturday, May 18-20 via Zoom. Speaking slots will be for at least one hour (50 minute presentations/ 10 minute Q&A). This is a volunteer speaking opportunity for high-energy and informative speakers. For your participation, speakers will be promoted to 15K+ avid readers and writers before the event on BWW's social media and D2A's weekly enewsletter. Speakers will also receive complimentary admission for one guest (valued at $99). Fifty percent of the proceeds from the event will be used to provide prizes for BWW's Chapter One Writing Competition. For more information, contact Michelle Jackson at events@prsolutionsllc.org.
Submission Requirements
All submissions will be reviewed and approved by April 6th. If selected, speakers will be notified via email. Headshots will be used to promote your participation. A speaker's prep conference call will be held 7-14 days before the event. All presentations will be reviewed prior to event day.
