  • 16 & U/16 Guidelines, Regulations and guardian consent:


    This online form must be signed and explained to both of the parents and the U/16 individual that they are all treated like adults and expect the same from all training TSD (The Strength Den) PSB (Portside Barbell). All rules must be followed as per our company rules and policy’s. All are outlined in our member’s waiver.


    U/16 24/7 memberships are available for persons over the age of 13 and up to 17. These carry a 1 month minimum period and roll on until cancelled at set rate if entered before turning 17 years of age.


    For persons under 13 years of age a parent is to be accompanying them and they will only be able to use the equipment in staffed hrs. Parents will take full responsibility of their siblings’ actions and will abide by company policy and stop any unsafe acts before causing injury. If these guidelines are not followed and there is any inconvenience to other gym users both the parent and the sibling will be terminated from the TSD & PSB facility.

     

    The parent/guardian, takes full responsibility for the minor’s actions, will abide by company policy and stop any unsafe acts before causing injury. If these guidelines are not followed and there is any inconvenience or injury to other gym users, both the parent and minor will be terminated from the TSD & PSB facilities.

     

    This form needs to be signed before using the facility. (This includes the TSD Jr development membership).

  • Members 16 & U/16yrs must undergo a 1:1 Assessment with one of our TSD staff members, you will be asked to go through a series of gym expectations, staff will demonstrate your ability to use the equipment safely in the main gym area and answer general questions about gym etiquette. You will be responsible for setting up the machines.

    Please be aware that the power room is a hazard for juniors, if you do not know the correct technique, injuries can occur, so we ask junior members to please stay out of this room unless you are with an adult or a coach.

    The outcome of this assessment, paired with your online assessment, will be used to determine your suitability for 24/7 access to The Strength Den, Burnie. You can request a copy of this completed assessment be emailed to you.
