  • Membership Agreements

  • I hereby certify that the information provided for membership furnished by me is true and correct. I agree that failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested, or any misstatement of fact shall be grounds for inactivation and/or revocation of my approved membership. I further agree that, if accepted for membership in the Association, I shall pay the required fees and dues as set by the Board of Directors, Idaho REALTORS® and/or Oregon REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®

NOTE: Dues or fees paid to the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution but may be tax-deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.

With Acceptance, I consent that the REALTOR® Associations (local, state, and national) and their subsidiaries, if any, may contact me at the specified addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, or other means of contact that I may provide, through various communication channels. These channels include but are not limited to bulk emails, text messages, online messaging systems, phone calls, and direct mail. Further, this consent applies to changes in my contact information that I may provide to the Association (s) and/or MLS in the future. This consent recognizes that certain state and federal laws may limit communications and that I am waiving this limit and wish to receive all communications as part of my membership. I understand that FRAOR does not sell or share email lists with third parties. However, broker-level rosters will be provided to FRAOR Affiliate members only. I agree to follow the NAR Intellectual Property Usage Policy and all trademarks and further understand that NAR has granted me the license to use the term REALTOR®, as outlined through their Trademark Protection Program.

  • I hereby apply for REALTOR® Membership in the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® (FRAOR). I will pay my setup dues, including my dues payable and a nonrefundable application fee to FRAOR.  I understand that in the event of non-election, this amount, less the non-refundable application fee, will be returned to me. (Dues are prorated based on the month joined unless the applicant held membership the previous year.

I will attend all classes required for new members within ninety (90) calendar days of my membership application.  I further understand that failure to meet this requirement may result in having my membership inactivated.

I agree to thoroughly familiarize myself with and abide by the Code of Ethics, Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of Idaho REALTORS®, and/or Oregon Association of REALTORS® (OAR) and the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures of FRAOR, as amended and adopted from time to time.  Further, I agree to the obligation to arbitrate or mediate controversies arising out of real estate transactions as specified by Article 17 of the Code of Ethics as defined in the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual of NAR, as amended from time to time.

NOTE: Applicant acknowledges that if accepted as a member and subsequently resigns from the Board or otherwise causes membership to terminate with an ethics complaint pending, the Board of Directors may condition renewal of membership upon applicant’s certification that they will submit to the pending ethics proceedings and will abide by the decision of the hearing panel. If the applicant resigns or otherwise causes membership to terminate, the duty to submit to arbitration continues in effect even after membership lapses or is terminated, provided the dispute arose while the applicant was a REALTOR®.

I consent that FRAOR may invite and receive information and comment about me from any member or other persons. I agree that any information and comment furnished to FRAOR by any person in response to said invitation shall be conclusively deemed privileged and not form the basis of an action for slander, libel, or defamation of character.

I further understand that I acknowledge that I can access copies of the associations governing documents referenced above by requesting copies from the association office.
