Vision
The dream of Grace City Church is to bless the community and strengthen marriages and families. In building our church home, it’s been our prayer that The Hub would be a bustling place of community and creativity, especially for children and families. In talking with families and community leaders, a repeated need expressed was for more preschool opportunities. The current availability is simply inadequate to meet the growing needs of families in our Valley. Little Starts is one way our church family can help our Valley by using our resources of space and people to be a part of the solution for providing such critical early education.
Photography/Videography
Pictures or videos may be taken of your child for school-related reasons, such as to capture and commemorate crafts & activities, class photos, or communication purposes. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please contact Pastor Logan Heine (logan@gracecitychurch.com)
Tuition Terms
Cost of tuition is divided into nine equal payments coinciding with the academic school year (September – May). The first payment is due September 1, 2023. The subsequent 8 payments are due on the 1st of each month thereafter, October 2023 – May 2024. A $25 late fee per week will be assessed for tuition payments not received by the 10th of each month.
Please provide a two weeks’ notice should you need to withdraw your child from Little Starts for any reason. Only prepaid tuition for coming months will be refunded.
Persistent Behavioral Issues
Respectful attitudes towards teachers and helpers is a requirement for a child’s participation in Little Starts. Continued patterns of disrespect is disruptive to others students, creates a chaotic classroom culture, and impedes learning of others students. Children with disrespectful attitudes will be lovingly corrected and given the opportunity to change their behavior (there will be no form of physical discipline).
Parents of a child who displays an unwillingness to change their attitude will be called to pick up their child from class. If persistent disruptive behaviors continue from week to week, the child may be asked to discontinue Little Starts and pursue early education elsewhere (participation in LS is a privilege, not a right). Our teachers are highly skilled at correcting and redirecting disruptive behaviors and happy to partner with parents to encourage happy hearts of obedience and respect.
