Congrats! You're a candidate for our prescription razor bump cream with Clindamycin 1%, Tretinoin 0.02%, Hydrocortisone 2%.

Clindamycin is an antibiotic which kills the bacteria that causes acne. Tretinoin is a retinoid that normalizes skin cell differentiation, preventing new bumps and helping old ones to resolve. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that decreases inflammation, reducing the size and redness of bumps.

*This medication is not an FDA-approved compound for the treatment of razor bumps. These medications are being used off-label.

How do I use it? Using a pea size amount, rub a thin layer of medication at night to the affected areas as needed. You can use this medication the day of and day after shaving as well to prevent bumps. If using this medication daily for 2 weeks, please take a 1 week break to prevent skin atrophy.

What to expect? This medication can decrease the severity of razor bumps, help old ones resolve faster, and can prevent new ones from appearing. If any area becomes irritated, stop usage in that location and let the area heal before restarting there again.

We also recommend using Benzoyl Peroxide 5% Wash to exfoliate and prevent bacterial resistance to the Razor Bump Cream.

Benzoyl Peroxide exfoliates the skin overlying razor bumps and prevents bacterial resistance to the clindamycin in the razor bump cream.

How do I use it? Wash affected areas with the wash daily, or as tolerated.

Side effects? Side effects may include burning, stinging, itching, dryness, irritation, and redness. If using this wash on dry/irritated skin you may be more likely to experience irritation. Stop if you experience worrisome side effects.
