Vendors are classified into by type – food, commercial, state/local political, federal political and non-profit. As such, vendor packages vary.
PLEASE NOTE: FOOD VENDORS MUST PARTICIPATE BOTH FRIDAY and SATURDAY - VENDOR PLACEMENT WILL BE PER PRIDEFEST RULES AND ARE SUBJECT TO LOGISTICAL NEEDS SUCH AS ELECTRICITY.
ALSO, YOU MUST SUBMIT PAYMENT BY SQUARE TO BE SIGNED UP. SIGN-UP FORMS WITHOUT PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Considerations:
• Selection of vendors and vendor placement is at the sole discretion of the Cedar Valley Pride Fest Inc.
• Vendors not conforming to their classification must be reviewed and approved at the discretion of CVPF prior
to registration. Additional fees may apply.
• Unregistered vendors are not permitted and will be asked to leave
Locations:
A food court area will be setup within the gates. Limited seating will be provided to the public. Commercial (merchandise and service) non-profit informational and political booths will fill the balance of the space.
Requirements:
• Vendor participation requires accordance with all details set forth in this document including those details outlined under Consideration, Setup and Operations.
• Food vendors are required to contact the Black Hawk County Health Department for a license and it is your responsibility to ensure you are registered to be a food vendor. The Black Hawk County Health Department is the final word on requirements and details relating to food, cleanliness and menu items.
• It is your responsibility to comply with any applicable laws and regulations (including sales tax).
• No dumping into the city drainage system will be allowed including – grease, cleaners, excess beverages or food debris.
Pridefest Supplies:
• Space as described below based on the vendor’s classification
• Limited electrical access
• Overnight security for two-day vendors is supplied - Cedar Valley Pridefest is not responsible for any lost or stolen items and you should plan accordingly for set-up and tear down each day
Vendors to Supply Their Own:
• Tents
• Tables
• Chairs
• Equipment (including extension cords and power strips)
• Signage
• Personnel
• Change/Credit Card processing
• Two (2) garbage cans and bags for waste disposal
Setup:
• On Friday, trailers and large vehicle vendors should be in place by 4 PM. You will not be allowed to drive on the festival grounds after 4:30 PM. All vendors should be in place by 5 PM. For everyone's safety, no vehicles are allowed in the festival grounds during festival hours.
• On Saturday, trailers and large vehicle vendors should be in place by 10 AM. You will not be allowed to drive onto the festival grounds after 10:30 AM. All vendors should be in place by 11 AM. For everyone's safety, no vehicles are allowed in the festival grounds during festival hours.
Hours of Operation:
• Hours of Operation for Food and Commercial Vendors
Friday- 5:30 PM- 10 PM
Saturday- 12 PM- 10 PM
• Hours of Operation for Political and Non-profit Vendors
Saturday- 12PM- 6PM
• Late arrival and closing early is prohibited.
• Vendors are encouraged to stay until Midnight - attendance is high until 12 AM.
