Volunteer Form
We are always looking for new volunteers to join us! Any potential volunteer must be 18 years of age. If you wish to bring your child to assist you during your volunteer hours, they must be 5 years or older and must be supervised by the parent/volunteer at all times. All volunteers under the age of 18 must stay with their guardian at all times while volunteering in any capacity. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you regarding next steps once your application has been received. There are a number of ways to get involved as a volunteer for MHSDR, please feel free to reach out if you have specific ideas to help that are not shown below. Our volunteer needs include:-Transport of dogs to and from: vet appointments, foster homes, events, etc.-Attendance and help at adoption events in the DC/MD/VA/West VA areas-Organizing supply drives in your area-Help at "Miri's Haven HQ in Rockville, MD
