    The MTAC – Los Angeles County Branch forbids the use of photography, audio and video recording of students’ performances during their public music branch events. This includes the use of the following electronic recording devices:

    * Cellphones.smartphones (e.g., iPhone, Android, Google Pixel, etc.)
    * Tablets
    * Mirrorless cameras
    * DSLR cameras
    * Camcorders
    * Mini recorders

    In open recitals and auditions, photography and video recording of a studnet performer by a family  member or friend will be allowed at one designated seat at the front. All other areas are prohibited.

    Partifipating teachers may monitor the audience to enforce the policy.  Failure to honor this policy will result in the associated child performer to: 1. forfeit his/her award, if chosen as a winner, and 2. be banned from the same music branch event the following year.

    Attendance: No more than 3 family members are allowed to attend an event. Any child under the age of 5 is not allowed inside the venue while the program is in progress.

    It is in our best interest to keep student performers safe and to respect their privacy, therefore we will uphold these rules for all of our public branch music events.

    Prior to any branch event, please pass this reminder to any other family members and friends that plan to attend. A reminder of our policies will be emailed and also announced at the day of the event. You, and your student’s families’ cooperation in this important matter is greatly appreciated.

    Upon signing this policy, I agree to the above terms and accept the penalties that may be handed to the student participant.
