Let It Shine! Volunteer?
Let It Shine operates with ease, joy and kindness. We expect volunteers to be excellent communicators and to be kind and respectful of each other and the people we serve. We provide groceries to 100 families every Friday at The Pantry. Let It Shine operates the LISA Boutique Thrift Store. Let It Shine runs outdoor markets at the Youth Center (Thursdays, June - August) and at the Verplanck Riverfront (Sundays, June - October) Volunteers need to be able to open and close the building at 137 7th Street by themselves, carry boxes up and down stairs. Summer Teen Volunteers can work Fridays at The Pantry and Saturdays and Sundays at The LISA, all other Volunteers must be over 18. If approved, Volunteers undergo 3 week performance review after a 3 week training period. Thank you for your interest in Let It Shine.!
