      Requests for Access Arrangements cannot be processed unless the required supporting evidence is received by the published deadline, including confirmation of the child's Usual Ways of Working from the primary school (using the CSSE Headteacher's Letter/Usual Ways of Working Proforma). All requests are considered in accordance with the CSSE 11+ Access Arrangements Policy, and will not proceed unless this evidence has been provided.

      A copy of our access arrangements guideline can be downloaded from the CSSE website or can be requested from the CSSE office. Any request for special adjustments must be made in writing by 26th June 2026 at the latest. Late or incomplete submissions will not be processed. Access Arrangements cannot be implemented without full evidence received by the published deadline.

      Adjustments will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Equality Act (2010), under the regulations governing School Admissions, and with reference to independent specialist advisors whose decision will be binding on the CSSE and the candidates.

    • A number of the CSSE schools give priority to a limited number of pupils who receive free school meals by virtue of their household income, are entitled to Pupil Premium, and those who are or have been in public care (looked after). Please note: if your child is eligible for Pupil Premium Funding, then this will be because of one of the options below, so please do select one of them. When you make your school application, confirmation from your child's primary school must be submitted using the CSSE Pupil Premium Form. One form should be sent to each of the CSSE schools you apply to by 31st October 2026.

    *In addition to this registration form Colchester County High School for Girls’ own Supplementary Information Form (SIF) must be completed for Looked After Children, Previously Looked After Children and for students in receipt of free school meals by virtue of their household income at the agreed government threshold at any point in the last six years from the date the test is taken, or for whom their primary school receives the  or receives the Service Pupil Premium. The Colchester County High School for Girls Supplementary Information Form (SIF) cand be obtained from their website www.cchsg.com.

    The completion of the online form does not constitute an application to the school you have named as a test centre or any of the CSSE Schools. Parents can apply for school places only by naming them as preferences on their Local Authority Common Application Form. A place can be offered to your child only through the process of application described in your Local Authority’s booklet. The CSSE schools, in common with all state schools, make offers of places through the co-ordinated admissions system managed by Local Authorities.
