Bongopix School of Rock is an interactive experience for the youth of Whitney and the surrounding area. Children are invited to the Bongopix Tavern to engage in musical performance and exploration. Sessions will occur every Tuesday in April from 4:30-5:30 PM at the Bongopix Tavern (50 Galeairy lake Road, Whitney Ontario).

Participation in this event is free! A healthy snack will be provided free of charge, and participants also have the option to purchase items from our special kids menu, only effective during School of Rock sessions. The kids menu features Fancy Flavoured Hot Chocolate and Assorted Candy Cups for $5 each.

Supervising Parents will be entitled to a 15% discount on any food & drink they would like to purchase during these sessions, and our regular food and drink menu will be available.

The Bongopix Tavern is a health inspected food service building. While we do our best to make dietary accommodations where we can, if your child has food allergies, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Participating children are expected to be of age and experience to conduct themselves in a manner resulting in proper use and respect for the Bongopix Tavern and the provided musical equipment. Bongopix reserves the right to deny attendance to participants that engage in inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour.

We will be playing a mixture of songs, some will be traditional children's songs and others will be pulled from famous classic rock & country music catalogues. While we will do our best to keep songs age appropriate, we can't guarantee that all parents will be in agreement with our choices of songs. If you have a concern about this content, please speak with the facilitators privately, either via email or in person when dropping off your child. We will do our best to accommodate, but understand that this program is meant to help children discover music outside of the "kid-friendly" umbrella.

We require any participants under the age of 10 to be under the supervision of an adult while attending. The supervising adult can be either the legal guardian of the child, or an adult designated by the guardian. So long as they are designated by the legal guardians, one adult can be responsible for several participating children.
