We love hockey and are passionate about providing a specialised and effective coaching experience to impart the love of the game and provide a great learning environment.

Spotters Hockey Summer Performance Academy with Head Coach Harry Brooking will be running from 18 May 2025  - 22 June 2026 (no session bank holiday Monday) with one masterclass session in May half term yet to be announced - pricing and details to follow for the May Masterclass.

Timings:

6.30pm - 8pm for those aged 10 - 16 with ambition to play at high levels. Cost £22 per session.

The Summer Performance Academy coaching environment is designed to be fun and challenging to help young players to learn, develop and flourish. Plus, players can both retain, develop their skills and game play in readiness for the season ahead  

We will be working on England Hockey’s phases of the game and the highly skilled actions to achieve success in match play during these sessions.

Spotters Hockey works closely with talented players and coaches at the University of Bath.   The SPA coaching will feature Harry Brooking with a team of talented players and other coaches guest appearances such as Welsh International Hywel Jones, and Oskar Edwards, with international playing experience for England Hockey and now M1 player for Loughborough at National League level and others.

Players will need a hockey stick, shin pads and a gum shield to participate and any other protection that is preferred by the player. Specialised GK coaching available. 

Please bring a still drink and snacks. 

Coaching will go ahead in most weathers so please come prepared to suit the weather at the time of the sessions booked, coaches will vary; minimum 6 players needed to go ahead.

The sessions are £22 per session: GKs £5 additional supplement  

Goal Keepers are also welcome and GK specific coaching will be provided and then coaching can be put into practice in the sessions  

(All prices are per person; payment details will be provided on receipt of the completed form).

NB Coaching and Camp sessions will run provided UK government rules allow; sufficient bookings received and pitch space is confirmed. Not all sessions may run. Coaching personnel may vary from that advertised. Pitch allocations may alter. Adverse weather conditions may necessitate rearrangement of the session date. 

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Spotters Hockey during the selected sessions. My child's participation is entirely at my choice and I therefore accept the risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities, including hockey.

Confirmation

BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM  I AM AGREEING TO THE BOOKING TERMS. PRESSING SUBMIT WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.

 

Please note that hockey is unpredictable and whilst every care is taken, no liability for injury sustained  whilst attending our sessions, will be taken and all sessions are attended at your own risk. No refunds can be made but where possible an alternative session may be attended with a small admin fee to cover costs of rebooking; this is subject to re selling the space.
