Waiver of Liability
I/We hereby understand and acknowledge that the training, programs and events held by the Clarinda Regional Health Center may expose me to many inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness, or even death on or off pre-approved training locations. I/We assume all risk of injuries associated with participation including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, and all other such risks known or unknown. I/We hereby acknowledge my responsibility to stop participating in any activity if I/we have any physical and psychological concerns that might conflict with participation in activity.
I/We acknowledge that I/we am/are physically fit and mentally capable of performing the physical activity I choose to participate in. After having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of acceptance of my participation in any activity I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE AND RELEASE the Clarinda Regional Health Center, its officers, agents, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out of my participation in the Clarinda Regional Health Centers training, programs and/or events regardless of cause including negligence on the part of the facility. By my signature I/We indicate that I/We have read and understand this Waiver of Liability. I/We am/are aware that this is a waiver and a release of liability, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
Term and Conditions
- All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable as there will be a makeup race date in the event of weather cancelation. This policy applies to all entrants and is in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc.
- ONLY early bird signups will be guaranteed a shirt. If you sign up after August 1st there will be no guarantee on receiving a shirt from the event.
- You will not receive your event number bib till you check in the day of the race. Check in will be open at 4:30PM before the race that evening.
- You are solely responsible for determining your fitness to participate in the activity.
