For more than 90 years, WMCC has been a place where neighbors connect, youth discover new opportunities, older adults stay engaged, and people from all backgrounds come together to learn, celebrate, and build community. As we continue this important work, your membership remains one of the most meaningful ways to support our mission. Your membership is an investment in WMCC and its programs, services, and opportunities that bring our community together. Membership support helps fund: Youth and family programs, Community events and outreach initiatives, Building maintenance and improvements, Staff and operational support, New opportunities that strengthen and enrich our neighborhood. Every membership helps WMCC continue serving as a welcoming hub where community, learning, culture, and connection thrive. As our Executive Director reflected in this year's annual report: "WMCC is not simply a building. WMCC is people. WMCC is connection. WMCC is community." To help sustain and strengthen our programs, services, and facilities for years to come, the Board of Directors has approved a modest membership rate adjustment as of January 2026. You do not have to donate to become a volunteer or member, however if you decide to, we are more than appreciative of your contribution. Volunteer
The West Medford Community Center is a 501c3 non-profit established in 1934 and incorporated in 1945. We are a volunteer, membership participation organization designed to promote the civic, social, recreational well-being & stewardship of what was originally West Medford & has grown to include the whole of Medford & the wider Mystic River Valley. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Without you, there is no us. There are many opportunities for volunteering for a one-time experience, short term or long-term roles. Won't you join us in helping keep our community strong, vibrant, and active?
