Examination Times:
Examination times are scheduled based on the class entered and the age of the dog. Because of this, examination times will not be published until after entries close. Your examination time could be EITHER Thursday, November 2 or Friday, November 3 with all classes (final selection) being completed on Friday, November 3. Should you not be able to attend your examination time, your entry will NOT be refunded.
Notice to Exhibitors:
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
Contents of all evaluations become property of the Working Beauceron Association and will be published in the Working Beauceron Association Newsletter. Evaluations may also be used and/or published at a future date. Entry form errors are the responsibility of the entrant.
Photo, Video, and Audio recordings may be present during any aspect of the event. By entering or spectating any portion of the event, you may be subject to photo, video, and audio recordings of yourself or your dog. All photo, video, and audio recordings taken by the Working Beauceron Association are property of the Working Beauceron Association and may be used in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of the Working Beauceron Association, Inc.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated at this event. Any complaints filed to the Journee Committee regarding unsportsmanlike conduct will result in your immediate removal from the event without a refund. All entrants and spectators, regardless of membership status with the WBA, are subject to the WBA Member Code of Ethics.
Run order will be emailed out to all participants at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Children must be kept under the control of their parents or guardians at all times and must be kept away from all event equipment and dogs.
Shade and water must be provided by the entrant to your dog. If the event committee suspects that any dogs have been mistreated or uncared for, the Journee Committee reserves the right to ask you to leave the event or contact the proper authorities for professional remedy.
Declination of entries: WBA may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other cause, and no one shall have recourse against WBA, any official thereof, or any judge.
Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Journee Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the organizing committee, it is impossible to open or complete the event, no refund of entry will be made. Extreme weather conditions, including, but not limited to, snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme temperatures, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors, judges and spectators. The well being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance. In the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made.
No refunds will be given for overpayment of fees if the error is less than $10.00. The Working Beauceron Association Inc, Journée Chair, Journée Secretary and the Owners of Prado Recreation assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or spectators, or by any of their dogs or property.
