Funding conservation through Carbon - Initial Screening Form (South Pole & FSC)

This form developed by South Pole and FSC is designed to collect enough information to make an initial assessment on the carbon potential of a Certificate Holder´s forest. It is divided into 4 sections:
1. General information
2. Location information
3. Improved Forest Management (IFM)
4. Afforestation, Reforestation and Restoration (ARR)
The goal of the FSC-South Pole partnership is to facilitate certificate holder access to additional revenue streams available through the carbon market AND increase adoption of FSC Forest Management certification and the FSC Ecosystem Service Procedure.

Please complete the form to the best of your ability. While there is no right or wrong answer, be aware that the quality and quantity of information you provide us will impact how well we are able to conduct a high-level estimation of carbon offset potential for your land and management situation.
