Thank you for considering applying to become a Board of Director for the Board of Psychedelic Medicine and Therapies (BPMT). Our mission is to certify psychedelic-assisted therapists to provide competent, safe, and ethical delivery of psychedelic medicine in an equitable and accessible care for members of diverse populations. We aim to achieve this mission through building an inclusive, collaborative, and thorough certification test and process for psychedelic assisted therapy practitioners.
The essay questions provided below are intended to give us an understanding of your personal journey, vision, skill set, and commitment to helping us build this organization with care and integrity. We appreciate your interest in joining us and contributing towards achieving our mission.
Please ensure that you answer all essay questions completely and concisely, while being mindful of the specified maximum word limit.
A complete application must contain the following:
- A completed and signed BPMT Board of Directors Application
- CV or Resume
- A completed and signed Conflict of Interest Policy
- A letter of recommendation (sent directly from the letter-writer)
- Additional materials: any reference material such as your website, art/expressions/stories, videos, or publications
Letter of Recommendation
Please have the writer of your Letter of Recommendation (LOR) email the LOR directly to boardrecruitment@pmtboard.org with your full name in the subject line. The Letter of Recommendation must include the following information:
- The reason you believe the nominee is the right person to be a Board of Director
- Expertise (e.g., in psychedelics, board service, credentialing/testing, etc.)
- Ability to work well on teams
- Community engagement/accomplishment(s)
- Commitment to justice, diversity, equality, and inclusion
