Please read the following information carefully. Sign below to declare your candidacy and acceptance of the terms in this section of the application.
  • BPMT is actively seeking to fill 2 to 4 board positions.

Board terms are staggered, with Directors initially serving for either one (1) or two (2) years. As we are still in our “start-up” phase, Board meetings will be held monthly for one to two hours (maximum) in addition to a monthly working group meeting for 1.5 hours. There will pre-meeting reading materials prior to meetings.

The Board may adjust the cadence of the meetings and determine what board committees are needed to help facilitate the work of the board. Board members are expected to be timely and present at every meeting, read all materials prior to meetings, and come to meetings ready to actively engage and participate.  Directors must also participate in fundraising and development activities (to include financial donations if able) to fulfill the mission of the organization.

For your reference: Service on BPMT’s Board of Directors is without remuneration. As a registered organization in California, BPMT is legally prohibited from offering compensation to its Board members for their board-related duties. However, the organization covers travel, accommodations, and reimbursement expenses incurred in relation to BPMT duties, ensuring that members can fulfill their responsibilities without additional financial burdens.
