    SESSION THEME | 'Motivation' 

    Summer is one of the best times of the year! The sun shines brighter, the birds chirp louder and the temperature is warmer! At OK, summer brings out a new perspective and a sense of motivation inside each of us urging us to make the most of this beautiful time of year and explore more with each other. The next two sessions for our summer semester will include activities the activities that the Warriors mapped out for “Motivation”.

    ON-SITE PROGRAMS 07/10/2023 - 09/01/2023 (8 weeks)

    3 hours per session  |  2 sessions per day  |  4 days per week

    TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS

    AM BLOCK  |  9:00 am - 12:00 pm

    TUES. WED. THURS. & FRI. (ALL DAYS)

    PM BLOCK  |  3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS

    EXTENDED DAY BLOCK | 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

    Beginning January 2023, Opportunity Knocks has been offering extended day options for Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM. If a Warrior registers for the extended day option and the pm session (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM), they will be permitted to stay on-site from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Lunch will be provided in the extended day option. Please contact Kim@opportunityknocksnow.org for inquiries regarding the extended day option.

     

    ZOOM VIRTUAL PROGRAMS

    7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, 8/28 (8 weeks)

    1 hour per session  | 1 day per week  |  4 sessions per day

    MONDAYS

    10:00 am - 11:00 am, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ONSITE SESSION TRANSITIONS

    There will be a daily transition period from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm during the on-site program days. All Warriors will be required to leave the program sites between sessions. Warriors can register for an AM and PM session on the same day, but they will need to go home between the hours of 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM 

    During the transition period, OK Staff will clean and disinfect program space according to our Cleaning & Disinfecting Plan. Staff will also then make preparations for the next group coming to their designated location.

  • GENERAL GUIDELINES

    • The registration process will accept requests for all sessions
    • Warriors will have three separate 45-minute activities within their group at the same location

    PROGRAM COST STRUCTURE

    The cost structure breakdown is based on a 8-week session. Financial assistance is available for Warriors & Families that qualify. We are implementing a new assistance scale that we will keep with us going forward. It is our goal to overcome financial barriers so that this program and all OK programs are accessible.     ONSITE PROGRAMS - SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN

    • 3 hours per 1 Day @ $15 per hour = $45 per session
    • 8-week cost @ $45 per session = $360

    VIRTUAL PROGRAMS- SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN

    • 1 hour per Zoom Meeting @ rate of $10 per hour
    • 8-week cost @ $10 per Zoom Meeting = $80

     REGISTRATION PROCESS

    • Registration will open on Friday, March 31st at 3:00 PM

    • Registration will close on Friday, June 9th at 5:00 PM

    • The final registration plan will be communicated befor Friday, June 23rd by email confirmation letters.

    INTAKE PROCESS

    The intake process will include a few more documents, waivers, and consent forms than usual. We are taking extra precautions to ensure we are covering all of our bases. We ask for your patience and cooperation in this process.
