Provide a survivor-centered grievance process in cases of bullying, sexual harassment, and discrimination (e.g.: interim protective measures, enforceable timelines, strong alternatives to address limitations of the Title IX Process)
Fund student-led training programs to prevent discrimination and harassment
Provide full workplace accommodations for student employees with disabilities
Provide free/discounted housing for student employees with disabilities
Divest from campus police and redirect resources to alternative health and safety programs

Guarantee that all hours that are worked are compensated

What other ideas do you have for how to improve our working conditions at WWU?
This is a collective effort! We can only win a strong contract if we all come together and help organize with our coworkers. We need people to help share this survey with coworkers, and we’ll also need help generating bargaining demands, creating proposals, and deepening our community across campus.
