o FINAL DECISION: The scientific committee reserves the right to make the final decision about abstract acceptance and its scheduling into the program based on topics and time constraints.
o MEETING REGISTRATION AND EXPENSES: All presenters must register to attend the conference within 2 weeks of acceptance of the abstract and be present at the time of the conference. All expenses associated with the preparation, submission, and presentation of the abstract are the responsibility of the presenting author(s), including travel and lodging. Presenters must not use the session as a marketing opportunity for products or equipment.
o CERTIFICATE: A certificate of appreciation will be given to the presenting author (only) to honor their presentation.
o AWARDS: Awards for best abstract are given based on the highest score in each category (for in-person presentations only). The travel award is determined based on the initial reviewer scores for those who qualify (students and trainees only). Award recipients will be notified when abstract decisions are finalized, and awards will be given to the presenting author in person at the event.
o RESPONSIBILITY: Authors are responsible for the content submitted. All authors should review and approve the final abstract prior to submission. The presenting author should register in the meeting.
o COPYRIGHTS: By submitting this abstract, the authors certify that it has not been published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The authors grant an exclusive license to publish the submitted abstract to Innovative Healthcare Institute (IHCI), Cincinnati, OH, USA. IHCI shall have the exclusive right to produce and publish the abstract in print and electronic media including rights to reprint, translate, and distribute throughout the world. The abstract will be simultaneously licensed under an open access Creative Commons license (CC-BY), which permits authors to reuse or adapt the abstract in future work.
o PUBLICATION: Accepted abstracts may be published as-is with Conference Proceedings in Innovations in Digital Health, Diagnostics, and Biomarkers (IDDBjournal.org) and are therefore embargoed until the date of presentation or publication, whichever comes first. The publisher reserves the right to make minor edits for Journal style and format and correct obvious typing errors in the submitted abstract. These edits will not alter the intended meaning.
o ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES: This transaction may be conducted by electronic means, and the parties authorize that their electronic signatures act as their legal signatures of this Agreement. This Agreement will be considered signed by a party when their electronic signature is added below. Such signature shall be treated in all respects as having the same effect as an original handwritten signature.
