Tech for Independent Living - Summer Tech Camps 2023
This July and August, The Arc of Northern Virginia will have their Tech for Independent Living Summer Camps. Have fun, socialize, and make friends while using and learning technology to become more independent. The Tech for Independent Living Workshop will provide direct access to, and training on, our catalog of virtual custom lessons that help with traveling, employment, safety as well as daily living skills.

A previous attendee said “This was one of the best transition sessions I have attended. The information was relevant, fairly easy to use, and the support given by instructors was amazing”. Another attendee mentioned “It was a great session that boosted the morale and a sense of independence, "can-do-it" attitude in the campers.”

This workshop will feature four days of your choice of in-person or interactive Zoom Meetings including large and small group workshops and training. These will be held in the mornings from 10AM-12:30PM. In the afternoons from 1PM-3PM, parents and caregivers can sign up for one-on-one 30 minute meetings with our Tech for Independent Living team staff to discuss how the program can further help their attendees.

Dates: July 17th - 20th, and August 7th - 10th
