Statement of Student Eligibility
In accepting state financial aid (TPEG, TEOG, or Texas College Work Study), you attest that you meet all of the requirements listed below. If you cannot attest to all of the requirements below, please email finaid@wcjc.edu for assistance.
Registration for Selective Service (known as the military "draft") is required by law for all male US citizens and male immigrants, 18 through 25. Males can check their Selective Service status and register at sss.gov.
I am exempt from further action on the Selective Service registration requirement because I meet one of the following requirements:
- I was born female and not required to register.
- I was born male and am under the age of 18 and am not currently required to register.
- I was born male and have already registered with Selective Service.
I also attest that I have never been convicted of a felony and have never been convicted of an offense under Chapter 481, Health and Safety Code (Texas Controlled Substances Act) or under the law of any other jurisdiction involving a controlled substance as defined by Chapter 481.
Additionally, I attest that I am not more than 30 days delinquent on a child support payment or am not required to pay child support.
By typing my name below and submitting this form, I attest that I meet all of the above requirements for state financial aid. If I do NOT meet the requirements or am unsure, I will contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@wcjc.edu.
