AUDITION SUBMISSION FORM

We are so thrilled that you are taking the courageous step of auditioning! REAL has 15 spots available for this summer intensive and we will be carefully selecting students that have a passion and desire to use their creativity to impact the entertainment field in some capacity. We would love to accept everyone, but this program is meant to be an immersive simulation of the music industry and real time - it is competitive, intense, and fast-paced. It's important that we know you are passionately interested in knowing how to use your creative ability to make a living. Although focused on the music industry, this 3-day experience is designed to show you how to use your creativity, in any field. Please carefully follow the audition instructions for each category. You can only submit 1 audition per application, so if you are interested in production but also play an instrument please mention that in this audition!
MUSIC PRODUCTION AUDITION SUBMISSION:

If you are interested in studying MUSIC PRODUCTION during REAL, please submit one of the following:

Production & Engineering: If you are interested in production, please submit 1-2 samples of your beats (if you don't have anything recorded and you don't sing or play an instrument, please submit a 30-60 second video of you answering the following questions: 1) What does music mean to you? 2) Why are you interested in production?

Singing & Songwriting: If you are interested in songwriting, please submit either a voice recording of your song WITH LYRICS, or submit the lyrics of your song/poem. You can also submit a 60-90 second video of you singing.

Instrumentalist: If you play one of the following instruments: Drums, Electric Bass, Piano/Keyboards, Electric Guitar, Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello), Horns (Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Flute), Turntable

My child: Student's Name may participate in all Covered By Music Inc, & The Record Co events for the summer of the 2024 calendar year. As a parent or guardian, I authorize an adult counselor to make legal decisions, medical decisions or otherwise concerning said minor during the time of Covered By Music Inc, & The Record Co. I also agree that I will immediately notify Covered By Music Inc, & The Record Co, in writing, of any changes to the information above, medical or otherwise. I hereby release Sl Covered By Music Inc, & The Record Co, and its sponsors of any legal responsibilities and liability in the event of an accident or injury. Parent Permissions

Parents Should Read the Following Materials and Release Consent and their Acknowledgment through Signature. Forgery by Student or Unauthorized Persons will Result in Immediate Disqualification for Acceptance and/or Expulsion.
Informed Consent and Acknowledgement I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by the Covered By Music administrative team during the selected intensive. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by REAL, I assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless, Covered By Music (THE REAL PROGRAM) and The Record Co. Inc and all their respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of participating in selected REAL sessions.
