AIR's Apprenticeships for Tech initiative helps organizations build new and expand existing registered apprenticeship programs. In an apprenticeship, employers hire apprentices, paying them a learning wage while the apprentice is both working and learning through a combination of coursework and on-the-job training. The coursework can be provided by the employer itself or by an outside education partner. Read the Getting Started Guide to see an outline of the coursework needed for each tech job role.
If you are an education provider and interested in becoming an education partner for a registered apprenticeship program, please fill out this form completely. We will share this information with organizations building apprenticeship programs seeking an education partner.
If you have questions or need assistance filling out this form, please email your existing Apprenticeships for Tech contact, or ApprenticeshipsForTech@air.org.
