WE PURSUE SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS
It is our desire to pursue partnerships with each school we protect. This means that we want to invite parents of students at your school to have a role in the funding of protection of their own kid(s). Financial parental partnerships are not mandatory for schools to receive a free armed guard, but school administrators must be willing to allow Protected Schools to establish communication with parents. This can be done by schools sharing contact information of parents with Protected Schools, OR communication can be done through the school's communication system, therefore keeping personal contact information within the school system rather than sharing it (recommended). In either case, your school's administration must be willing to encourage parents to explore the possibility of partnering with Protected Schools if your school's application is approved.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS SUPPORT
We cannot provide an armed guard for your school without permission of your school's Board of Directors. If your school is a private school, this is good news considering your board is likely independent and does not require state or district approval. If your school is part of a larger district, your district board will need to approve your specific school's partnership.
