This scholarship was established in honor of James Woodward, a selfless individual who had a zeal for community outreach; A true servant-leader with tireless work ethic. Preference will be given to a college bound student who has a passion for and has demonstrated commitment to community service and whom could be referred to as an outstanding youth volunteer because of his/her dedication to serving others. The applicant must also be able to provide proof of significant volunteer experience over the past year and additionally, has excelled in academics, having maintained a 3.0 GPA.
