Types of Marine Radio Licences. Marine Radio Licences are issued by the Office of Maritime Communications and are internationally recognised.*

Long Range Operators Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) Marine Radio Licence. FULL Cost: $279.00 Includes govt Exam cost. There are no additional costs.

A Marine Radio Licence is required by all vessel operators using marine radios. (This includes recreational vessel operators). The LROCP Marine radio licence is for VHF radios and MF/HF radios and is completed 100% online. Cost includes the Office of Maritime Communications exam fee of $97.50.
