IMS Gala Bid by Proxy Form

Please complete the Bid-By-Proxy form, if you cannot attend The Gala in person, but would like to bid on live auction items at the 2023 International Montessori School Gala on Friday, April 28th, 2023. Provide the full name of the person(s) who you have designated as your proxy bidder(s) ("designee"), who will be attending the gala, in the boxes below. IMS will keep an electronic record of this form for use at the event.

PROXY RULES: Your designee will place the minimum bid on the item(s) you have selected at the auction. They will then monitor the progress of the items you have selected and increase your bid based on the bid increment, up to the maximum if required to win the item. Your designee will cease bidding when the maximum you have set has been exceeded.

Please register for The Gala on Event.Gives, and enter your credit card information. Should you have the highest bid on any item, you are obligated to pay for the item at the amount indicated by the bid. You will receive a notification from Event.Gives if you hold the winning bid, with the option to pay via Event.Gives, eTapestry, TADS or check. This form serves as your contract for payment.

BIDDING DISCLOSURE: Where listed, the "estimated values" provided should be considered a guide. These values have been retrieved by checking a variety of reputable sources. All bids are final and there will be no exchanges, refunds, or substitutions.

TAX DEDUCTABILITY: According to IRS Rules and Regulations, the only tax deduction for the purchase of auction items from nonprofit organizations is the amount paid in excess of fair market value.
