Calling all creatives, actors, movers, shakers, dreamers, jokers, storytellers, and rabble-rousers, help us capture a snapshot of life in the OC. Shirel Horovitz will create a community-driven video project that will build throughout her time here. We want you to be a part of this unique artist project.
To help Shirel create the video, JCFOC will host several Community Art Days and a Movement Masterclass as a series of interactive public workshops spread across Orange County. The Community Arts Days & Masterclass will begin with a short artist talk. Then it will lead into a 45-minute movement Masterclass workshop. The Movement Masterclass and dive deeper into gestures of gratitude—no prior dance or movement experience is required. Our session will conclude with a video opportunity. Shirel will edit the collateral from each event to create a video as a lasting art piece capturing our OC community.
Open to all ages (minors should be accompanied by an adult). We strive to host inclusive, accessible community-wide events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. The movement portion of this event can be modified for all bodies to fully participate.
Sign up below for our final Community Art Day & Masterclass. If you have questions about this event opportunity email: weissmanarts@jcfoc.org.
