    • The eligibility and selection criteria for this scholarship are available on the Monash website.

    • You will be assessed based on your
      • Academic results
      • Personal aspiration statement
      • Financial support statement
      • Interview performance

    • You must answer ALL mandatory questions on this form, provide certified documentation of your financial eligibility and attach all required documents.

    • You must submit this form and the required evidence, with your course application to study an undergraduate course before Sunday 16 July 2023.
  • APPLICANT DETAILS

    You must have submitted a Monash Course Application prior to submitting the scholarship application
    • You will receive a Monash Course Application Number once you have submitted a course application, which is required as part of the scholarship application process.

    • To be eligible for these scholarships, you must have not commenced university study at any institutions. 

    • Please note that double degrees are not eligible for this scholarship.

    • To submit your course application, please visit monashpartner.force.com/admissions.

    • Applications for this scholarship will have their $ 100 course application fee waived. Please request a waiver code from asiascholarship@monash.edu prior to submitting your course application.

    • If you applied for a course through a Monash Registered Agent, you will be provided with a Monash Student ID number. Please record this number instead.

  • COURSE DETAILS

    • You can find a list of undergraduate courses available at Monash University, their entry requirements and course code here.

    • If you are successful for the scholarship, you are required to commence your study at Monash University in Semester 1 (February), 2024. 
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL DOCUMENTATION

    All attached document(s) must be certified in order to be considered as part of your application.
  •  Who can certify Documents? Documents submitted outside Australia can be certified by: Monash University Registered agent, Monash staff member, solicitor, commissioner of declarations, government official, public notary, university staff (head of department, dean or registrar or other authorised person).


    What does the certifier need to do? Approved certifier (from the above list) must sight the applicant’s original documents and check that the copies are true and unchanged copies of the original documents.


    The certifier must then certify every page of the documentation as follows:

    1. Certifier must write a statement acknowledging or apply a stamp that shows they have sighted the original documents using words such as ‘certified true copy of the original’ OR ‘original sighted’.
    2. Certifier must sign the document
    3. Certifier must write their full name
    4. Certifier must apply the agent/organization stamp.
    5. If the certifier is not a Monash Registered Agent, the position title of the certifier must be indicated.
    6. Certifier must date the document.

    If you are applying through a Monash Registered Agent, they may wish to email all documentation directly to asiascholarship@monash.edu.

    Should that be the case, the email subject header should read 'K.C. Kuok Scholarship - (insert Applicant Name)'. 

    All documents submitted with your application remain the property of Monash University.

    Outline your future aspirations and how a degree at Monash will help you achieve these goals. What positive impact are you looking to have on the world? Please explain this through previous leadership roles, engagement with different communities or similar activities. This statement should not focus on your academic achievements or the financial benefit of the scholarship.

    The information collected on this form is used to assess your application for entry to a Monash University course. It is also used to create an enrolment record on the student database, to prepare a statistical analysis and to inform you about your course and other University courses/events. If you do not complete all the questions on this form, it may not be possible to process your application.     I warrant that the information on this form, or provided in support of my application, is correct and complete. I acknowledge that the provision of incorrect information or the withholding of relevant information relating to my application, including academic transcript/s, might invalidate my application and that the University may withdraw an offer of a place or cancel my enrolment in consequence. I understand that should the information be shown to be false at any stage, the scholarship will be terminated immediately and I will be liable to repay the University the total sum of any payments already made.


    Should the University determine that I have submitted a false document, I consent to the University disclosing the information to other relevant tertiary institutions.


    I consent to any educational institution at which I have previously been a student and/or my current or any past employer, providing Monash University with information which that institution or employer holds about me for the purpose of Monash verifying my grades and/or qualifications or experience. I agree to abide by the statutes, regulations and policies of Monash University.


    I understand that the Coursework Scholarships Unit may disclose the details of my application for selection purposes or details of the scholarships I may be awarded to other areas of the University.
