• Custom Beef Share - Cutting Instructions Grass Powered Poultry & Meats

  • Thank you for purchasing a beef share! You are going to absolutely love having a freezer full of our grass-fed and finished beef to feed your family for months.

    Here's how the process will work:

    1. You've already paid your deposit, which usually ends up being just under half of the anticipated total. The remainder due will be based on the hanging weight of your beef share. 

    2. Choose your cut instructions before the drop off date. Please don't hesitate to email me at dana@grasspoweredpoultry.com with questions, or I'm happy to schedule a phone chat to talk through all your options! You can also reach out directly to Stockyards Packing Co at (513) 312-0648.

    3. We will delivery your beef animal to the processor. 

    4. Once the processor calls us with the hanging weight of your beef share, we'll create an order in the system with the remainder due. You will receive an order confirmation via email with the total remainder due.

    **We will not charge your credit card until a few days before pickup, or if you'd like to pay cash at pickup please just let us know!  

    4. Your beef will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after you receive the remainder due email confirmation. 

    5. Processing charges will be paid by us and are included in the total cost of your beef unless you request extras like snack sticks, summer sausage or beef sausage. We will add those to your invoice prior to pickup. 

    6. You'll pick up your beef from us at the farm, or if you're in our Cincinnati or Chillicothe Delivery area we're happy to deliver or meet you closer to home. 

    Below you'll choose cuts based on what's available from each part of the beef. If you don't see a cut you'd like listed, please leave a comment and we'll ask if our processor can make it happen for you!
