Rules, Regulations and Important Vendor Information
1) Vendors may back their vehicles up to the Quad sidewalk for load-in and load-out. Please do not park on the sidewalk. Once your equipment has been unloaded, promptly move your vehicle to one of the parking lots on either side of campus. No vendor’s personal vehicle may remain on Workhouse Way following load-in. Exceptions may be made upon request for vendors whose vehicle is necessary for the operation/sale of their product or service; i.e. food trucks.
2) Each space is 10x10 and will be clearly marked for you upon arrival
3) Each vendor should bring personal ilumination for their booth. The quad is dark after the sun goes down. The Workhouse is working on some lighting throughout the quad but vendors should provide battery operated or solar lights for each individual space. I can provide suggestions upon request.
4) Spaces are reserved and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for this event. Fees for the spaces are non-refundable unless the Workhouse cancels the Market. No space is reserved or assigned until payment has been received. This makes it even more important that you get your application and fees in AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Notifications and confirmations will be emailed to you so please make sure to provide legible and accurate information.
Refunds for the canceled Markets will be processed after the completion of the season.
5) STAKES ON TENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED – no exceptions! Under no circumstances will stakes be used on the Workhouse campus as they may damage irrigation, drainage, or electrical systems beneath the lawn. Failure to follow this rule will lead to market expulsion with no refunds. Approved alternative methods of securing your tent include: Water barrels, Sand bags, Concrete/cinder block/brick, Metal/plastic weights
Such items should be weighted to a minimum of 10 pounds per leg/anchor point. Our quad creates a wind tunnel effect that can be hazardous if proper weights are not used. Additionally, while we do allow siding on pop-up tents, it is not recommended.
6) To preserve the integrity of the historic structure and artworks, no nailing, clamping, screwing, taping, or similar actions may be used to attach items to the floor, walls, ceiling, structural supports, or other surfaces, whether indoors or outdoors.
7) All vendors must bring their own equipment, including but not limited to tent, weights, tables, chairs, trash bags, tape, scissors, lighting, etc.
8) Vendors are responsible for leaving the Workhouse facility in the same condition they found it upon their arrival. This includes removing leftover food and drink, décor, rental equipment, trash, personal belongings, and performing other standard and expected cleanup. All trash must be deposited in an appropriate dumpster on campus. Dumpsters can be found behind building 16. Staff will be happy to direct you. No trash should be left next to the dumpsters; a fine of $75 will be required if trash is not properly bagged and removed.
