  • U.S. Armed Forces Motor Vehicle Permit Application

  • Guests currently serving on active duty or in the reserves, as well as honorably or medically discharged veterans, may apply for a free Motor Vehicle Permit (MVP).

    Eligible applicants receive one (1) MVP by mail, valid for a two-year period. Reapplication is required every two years.

  • I received an honorable discharge from the Armed Forces
  • I have a disability that has been determined by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs to be permanently AND totally disabling.*
  • I receive a pension or compensation from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.*
  • I am a veteran to whom the Department of Veteran’s Affairs has issued a set of  Disabled Veterans License Plates” under section 4503.41 of the Ohio Revised Code.*
  • I am a former “prisoner of war,” meaning I was a member of the U.S.armed forces, captured, separated, and incarcerated by an enemy of the United States.*
