    Located in the heart of the new Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre, the Marketplace brings together over 200 local vendors for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Guests will be able to check out the incredible variety from amazing vendors, and visit Western Alley for all their rodeo needs.

    For the Vendors

    You're invited to showcase your business, products and talent in the Whoop-Up Days Marketplace. Because Whoop-Up Days is free to the community, we are anticipating over 30,000 guests over five days. 

    The Marketplace will serve as an inaugural opportunity for you to:

    • Showcase your business to over 30,000 community members and guests over five days
    • Align with shoppers and consumers who shop, eat and enjoy local
    • Promote and build your brand through a low barrier to entry
    • Test your products in a static and exciting environment
    • Build relationships and get involved in the Lethbridge community

    The Whoop-Up Days Marketplace will be featured at Whoop-Up Days from August 22 – 26, 2023.

    Booth Costs

    10 x 10 $750 + GST
    10 x 20 $1,400 + GST
    20 x 20 $2,600 + GST

    Inclusions:

    • Back and side drape
    • 6' skirted table
    • 2 folding chairs

    Booth Add-Ons:

    Additional tables, chairs, power services, booth carpet or other booth display accessories can be purchased through Global Convention Services.

    Parking will be provided to vendors on a first come, first served basis. No parking passes will be provided due to the limited parking available.

    Vendor badges will be available for vendors to access the Whoop-Up Days site.

  • Vendor Move-In

    If vendors have not formally requested to move-in on the morning of August 22 via email to LDE, and are not checked in by 2 PM on August 21, they are considered a no-show and risk their booth being re-assigned or sold to wait listed vendors.

    Food & Beverage Vendors

    As a valued vendor of Whoop-Up Days, we are excited to inform you that Lethbridge & District Exhibition (LDE) has a venue wide partnership with Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited.

    Through this exciting partnership, Coca-Cola will be the exclusive supplier of non-alcoholic beverages for re-sale, distribution, promotion or marketing at Whoop-Up Days 2023. As such, external beverages such as lemonade, slushies, smoothies, ice caps etc. are not permitted for re-sale, distribution, promotion or marketing at Lethbridge & District Exhibition, Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre and all buildings and facilities unless approved by LDE in advance.

    We hereby declare that I have read and accepted the terms and conditions of the participation contract and agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of Whoop-Up Days 2023, and any agreements which may be imposed by the relevant authorities of Lethbridge & District Exhibition (LDE) as a condition of allotment of space.

    We hereby sign and agree to be bound by the following:

    1. LDE will attempt to accommodate all requests but due to limited space, vendors will not be permitted to select their location.
    2. Vendors must attend the Marketplace for all the dates and hours outlined; partial attendance will not be considered.
    3. LDE reserves the right to move booth placements, if required, up until the event move-in.
    4. Vendors are to wait for an approval of confirmation prior to contacting Lethbridge & District Exhibition to submit payment.
    5. Payment must be received in full by August 8, 2023, or booth spaces will be released to waitlisted vendors.
    6. Vendors must be moved checked in August 21 by 2 PM or will be considered no-shows. No refunds will be issued, and booth space will be sold to waitlisted vendors.
    7. Vendors must not sublet or share booth space with any other business or vendor.
    8. Direct selling is only permitted within booth space.
    9. Raffle draws are not permitted unless an AGLC gaming license is provided to LDE. No purchase necessary draws are permitted but must take place within allocated booth space.
    10. Vendors must wear provided vendor badges in their booth.
    11. All vendors will be provided 2 folding chairs, 6’ skirted table, 8’ back drape and 3’ side drape for their booth.
    12. Signage must be free-standing (no tacks, nails or tape may be used on walls or floors), no taller than 12 feet, and must remain within booth space. 
    13. Security will be in effect from move-in until conclusion of move-out.
    14. Parking is not included for vendors.
    15. Lethbridge & District Exhibition reserves the right to cancel booth space if vendors are breaking agreed upon terms.
    16. Vendors acknowledge that all right, title and interest in video(s) and/or photograph(s) taken at the Whoop-Up Days Marketplace, being original works, belong to Lethbridge & District Exhibition for marketing purposes.
    17. No vendor will have exclusive rights to products. Other vendors will be permitted to sell similar products.
    18. No threatening or aggressive behavior to Lethbridge & District Exhibition employees, contractors, security, members of the public, or other vendors will be tolerated.
    19. No helium or propane cylinders are permitted in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. Helium balloons are also not permitted within the facility.
    20.  No animals are permitted in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.
    21.  No smoking of cigarettes, vaping or marijuana is permitted inside the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.
    22.  Forklifts will be available on-site for move-in from August 20, 10 AM – 4 PM and August 21, 10 AM – 4 PM.
    23. All food and/or beverage vendors must comply with the Alberta Health Food Safety Regulations, which includes submitting a submit a Special Event Food Vendor Notification to both LDE and AHS.
    24. All personal service vendors (face paint/makeup, temporary tattoos, Henna, etc.) must comply with Alberta Health Services Regulations and must submit at Temporary Personal Services Vendor Notification to both LDE and AHS.
    25. LDE may at any time in its discretion, remove the vendor, and/or its employees/volunteers from campus for any violation of this contract.
  • Application Submission

    This entry is subject and bound to all Whoop-Up Days Marketplace Terms & Conditions. The applicant, having read application and Terms & Conditions understands they form part of this contract, as entered into with Lethbridge & District Exhibition.
