Your status as an AILA Retired Member is acknowledgement that you have completed a career in Landscape Architecture and hold a lifetime of expertise in this field. You can continue to access a wide range of benefits and services including continued use of the ‘AILA RLA’ affix after your name. The knowledge and experience of senior members is highly valued by AILA and we hope you will stay involved with the Institute and other members.
Eligibility is as follows:
Retired Registered Landscape Architect membership is for Landscape Architects who have previously been
- Registered with AILA for at least five years, and
- have completely retired from Landscape Architecture practice or teaching - and
- if being paid for work or teaching in any other profession then it must be for less than 8 hours per week.
