    Donations and Lantern Order Form

     

    OBON IS BACK! 

    After a three year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mountain View Buddhist Temple Obon will be back and open to the public.  RSVPs, pre-orders, etc are not required, but we are continuing our lantern donation program.

    Please use this form to make any donations to MVBT and commemorate the memory of your loved ones.

    PAYMENTS
    After you use this form to make your donation, you may pay by check or credit card. A 3% charge is assessed on credit card payments. If you choose to pay by credit card, you may help cover this charge when you check out.

    DEADLINES
    Digital Dedication Lanterns and Donations may be made until July 23, 2023.

  • DIGITAL DEDICATION LANTERNS

  • We invite you to make a donation to MVBT OBON by purchasing digital dedication lanterns. For every $25 donated, we will provide you with a customized digital lantern on our OBON website.The digital lanterns will be on display at obon.mvbuddhisttemple.org/lanterns.

    Lanterns will be accepted until Sunday July 23rd.

    Your support not only makes this program possible, but also helps MVBT's year-round operational expenses and educational programs.

    Please list the name(s) that you would like to honor on your digital lanterns, separated by commas (40 characters max per lantern). For Lotus and Sakura level sponsors, you may submit one name for every $25 donated). Wisteria and Chrysanthemum have no limit.

    If you do not have all of your names at this time, you will receive instructions on how to do so later in your confirmation email.
