2025 CATA Annual Clinical Symposium Speaker Proposal
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2025 CATA Annual Clinical Symposium. The CATA Professional Development Committee oversees educational offerings, which consists of Committee-developed programming and proposal submissions. We welcome proposal submissions from CATA members and non-members for the following program formats. Be sure to read the proposal guidelines for each program format prior to submission.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PROPOSAL
Proposal topics must fall within one of the five domains of practice for athletic training. Detailed domain information can be found in the Board of Certification Role Delineation Study: Injury and Illness Prevention and Wellness Promotion, Examination, Assessment, and Diagnosis, Immediate and Emergency Care, Therapeutic Intervention, Healthcare Administration and Professional Responsibility.
DEADLINES
You are encouraged to contact the PDC to discuss your session idea and/or presentation format. Please note consultation with the PDC does not guarantee a session or idea will be accepted/approved. Proposal submissions must avoid any affiliation with a commercial product or service. Proposals must be complete and accurate with confirmed topic and list of speakers. Incomplete and/or late proposals will not be considered. The deadline for submission is March 15, 2025. After March 15, 2025, the CATA Professional Development Committee will approve the submitted proposal on a case by case basis. All proposals may not be accepted. In this situation, topics will be selected based on the organization of the program, equipment needs (where applicable), quality of content and speakers, and significance of the material to the CATA membership.
