The City is joining the state in a major litter cleanup effort as part of the NCDOT Litter Sweep initiative. Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM to help collect litter around the intersection of Bendix Drive and Market Station Drive. Meet fellow community members and city staff in the parking lot of Lowe's at 207 Faith Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146, where we will gather before heading out to clean up the roadsides.
Clean-up equipment will be provided. Be sure to dress appropriately: wear closed-toe shoes and layers. Be prepared to walk a distance of 1-2 miles and carry up to 40 pounds of debris. Thank you for your commitment to cleaning our roadways and keeping Salisbury beautiful!
