  • 2026 UPDATED POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS


    A Subsidiary Policy of Akachi Beauty Salons LLC
    Applies to all services, products, education, and experiences offered by Akachi Beauty Salons LLC, including its subsidiaries, brands, and DBAs: Akachi Advance Beauty Academy, The Mesha Lee, and Under Your Weave LLC.


    PAYMENT, DEPOSITS & REFUNDS
    All prices, deposits, and payments are final.

    Deposits: All appointments require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. Deposits secure time, staffing, and resources and are considered liquidated damages.
    Accepted Payments: Credit card, debit card, or cash only.
    Services: All services are final. No refunds, credits, or exchanges.
    Digital Products & Education: All digital products, courses, downloads, and virtual education are final sale and non-refundable. Access is granted immediately upon purchase.
    Physical Products: Physical items may be replaced or refunded only if unopened, unused, and in original condition, and only in cases of manufacturer defect or damage at purchase. Shipping, customs, and international fees are the customer’s responsibility.

    CONSULTATION REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY)
    Consultations are required to ensure safety, accuracy, and realistic outcomes.

    New Clients: All new clients must complete a consultation prior to:

    Chemical services (relaxers, texturizers, hair color)
    Hair extensions, wigs, weaves, sew-ins, lace services, tape-ins, microlinks, FUI infusions
    Braids, locs, sister twists, or any external hair additions
    Hair loss, alopecia, thinning, shedding, breakage, or scalp conditions
    Returning Clients: A consultation is required if your last visit was 12 months or more ago.
    Consultations are separate appointments and do not include services.
    Questions may be directed to 704-956-8971 prior to booking.


    APPOINTMENTS, TIMING & ATTENDANCE
    Clients receive only the services booked. Add-ons are not guaranteed without prior approval.
    Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. Late arrival impacts service quality and scheduling.
    5–14 minutes late: A $10 late fee may apply.
    15+ minutes late: Appointment may be canceled at the provider’s discretion, with forfeiture of deposit/payment.
    Same-Day Cancellations: Deposit forfeited.
    No-Call / No-Show: Full service amount may be charged and future booking privileges may be revoked.
    Repeated violations may result in permanent booking restrictions.


    SERVICE ACCEPTANCE & AFTERCARE RESPONSIBILITY
    Services are considered accepted at the time of completion. Concerns must be addressed before leaving the premises. Once services are accepted, the salon and service provider are not responsible for outcomes affected by aftercare, environmental factors, personal maintenance, or third-party products.


    RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE
    Akachi Beauty Salons LLC and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify service at any time if:

    Safety is compromised
    Behavior is disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate
    Health, sanitation, or ethical standards cannot be met
    No refunds or credits will be issued in such cases.


    PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE (INCLUDING AI USE)
    By booking an appointment, attending an event, or checking the consent box, you grant Akachi Beauty Salons LLC and its affiliates the irrevocable right to photograph, video record, and use your likeness for lawful business purposes, including marketing, education, advertising, social media, and AI-generated content.

    No compensation is owed.
    You waive rights to inspect or approve final content.
    You release all claims related to editing, alteration, or use.
    Ownership of all media remains with Akachi Beauty Salons LLC.

    AGREEMENT & DIGITAL CONSENT
    By submitting payment or checking the consent box, you confirm that:

    You have read and understand this policy in full
    You agree to all terms
    Your payment acts as your digital signature
    This agreement becomes effective upon booking.
