• A middle school student reads her article published in iGeneration Youth for Kids.
  • iGeneration Youth gives middle school students an early start in the Arts, A/V Technology & Communications Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathway.

Our middle school internship is a selective, project-based experience for students who already have skills in writing, photography, illustration, design, or digital media. As an iGeneration Youth intern, you’ll collaborate with peers and mentors to create original stories and visuals for publication in iGeneration Youth’s magazines.

We accept applications throughout the school year. Apply by the 20th of the month, and if accepted, you’ll start as soon as the 1st of the next month.

Each internship requires 100 hours completed over twelve weeks. Interns receive a $500 stipend upon successful completion of the program.

Because you are under 18, you will be required to provide contact information for your parent or guardian, as well as your teacher or school advisor who can approve your placement. A copy of your application will be shared with both, along with additional program information.

Admission is highly competitive. Students who are accepted will be invited to meet with our admissions team in person or by video. Decisions are typically emailed within one week of receiving a completed application.
