    My Brother's Keeper, Inc. would like to thank you for your continued supported and for considering sponsorship for this year's Jackson Black PRIDE November 16-19, 2023. This year we will be celebrating 17 years of educating, celebrating, and elevating the Black LGBT+ communities of Mississippi. With activities also happening daily during Jackson Black Pride Week (Nov. 16 – 19), your sponsorship will create multiple opportunities to foster ideas wellness, and equity in Mississippi. Your generous contribution can also create connections between you and thousands of Mississippians across the state via social media and other digital Jackson Black PRIDE 2023 promotions.     My Brother’s Keeper, Inc. (MBK) is a private, nonprofit, 501(c) (3) organization with three offices in the Jackson, MS metropolitan area, (headquarters in Ridgeland) and two offices in South Mississippi – Hattiesburg and Gulfport. MBK’s mission is to reduce health disparities throughout the United States by enhancing the health and well being of minority and marginalized populations through leadership in public and community health practices, collaboration and partnerships.

    Seventeen years ago, a select few members of the Black LGBT+ community in Mississippi collaborated to create what is now known as My Brother’s Keeper’s Jackson Black PRIDE. Despite the challenges that historically rest at the intersection of anti-Blackness, anti-LGBT+ sentiments, and infectious disease stigma in Mississippi, the Jackson Black PRIDE initiative aimed to address the barriers and warriors that impact Black LGBT+ communities. We thank you for assisting us in creating a healthier Mississippi by creating increased access toprogressive ideas and practices that amplify health equity among Black people, LGBT+communities, PLWH (People Living with HIV), and other marginalized and medically underservedcommunities in Mississippi.

  • Sponsoring Vendor Acceptance Terms:

    This agreement is to verify your participation as a sponsoring vendor (if applicable) for a My Brother's Keeper's event.  My Brother's Keeper is not liable or responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur during the event. In addition, My Brother's Keeper assumes no liability or responsibility for any effects small business vendor products may have on patrons. Each sponsoring vendor holds responsibility and liability for their own products and product effects. Sponsoring vendor may have access to event space up to 1 hour prior to the event start date. Sponsoring vendor will have up to 1 hour after the end of the event for break down. Participation is voluntary and sponsoring vendors reserve all rights to their products and services as well as payment received for these products and services. Vendor location is chosen on a first come first serve basis. Please contact the event coordinator with payment questions. Small business vendors are entitled to use the name, likenesses, and other promotional materials provided for the My Brother's Keeper, Inc. event. As a registered sponsoring vendor you are welcome to submit a promotional item, i.e., coupon, business card, flyer etc., to be included in our complimentary registration bags given to all attendees. Your signature verifies your consent to these terms.

  • Booth Specifics:

    MBK has a limited number of tables & chairs available for rent on a first come, first served basis. If you choose to bring your own tables and chairs, you as a sponsoring vendor, are responsible for all of your own equipment . Tents/pop-up canopies are permitted for outside events. Sponsoring vendors are permitted to bring displays and stands. We encourage vendors to be as unique as you please with your display, however, loud music is prohibited. Outlets are available for electronic equipment, but are limited, those needs should be specified at the bottom of the agreement. Sponsoring vendors are advised to keep products and exhibits to an 8’x8’ display size. Larger displays should give prior notice to the event coordinator.

  • RAFFLE REQUEST

    We hope to continue to offer a FREE ENTRY as we have in years past. This is doable with your generous contributions towards our raffle drawings and donations/sponsorships. We are asking each vendor to please donate an item for our raffle drawing table, with a minimum value of $25. All raffle ticket sales go to helping us keep costs down and the booth fee low. Each vendor will be given a raffle ticket in their folder at check-in. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
