SMALL BUSINESS GRANT AMOUNTS
About the OTN Small Business Grant Program
If you are a small business in the Old Trenton Neighborhood (OTN), Isles may have funds to support your business as part of the State of New Jersey’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program!
Awarded applicants are required to attend at least one free meeting with a small business consultant. Meeting(s) can be held via Zoom, at the business, or in the office (1 N Johnston Ave, Hamilton).
How much can I apply for?
Applicants may request between $3,000 to $5,000 for their projects within the Old Trenton NRTC neighborhood (see map below).
Grants will be awarded 50% upfront, 50% upon completion
What can be funded?
Grant funds can cover the following expenses:
- Resources to get a business established online / other technology upgrades
- Tables, chairs, and other furniture for outdoor dining
- Costs for retooling and technology activities
- Exterior/Interior improvements
When is the application due?
There is no due date. This opportunity will end when funding is fully awarded.

The NRTC Old Trenton Neighborhood focuses investment in a specific area of Downtown Trenton, bordered by East State Street, North Broad Street, Perry Street, and Route 1.
