    If you are purchasing a table, it is up to the purchaser/Krewe contact to come to the Fiesta office to obtain the 10 tickets you purchased.

    DEADLINE FOR ROYALTY ENTRY: THURSDAY, MAY 25 | Krewes must purchase table (10 tickets) to have royalty presented | Limit of TWO COUPLES per Krewe and must purchase 10 tickets PER COUPLE
  • DANCE CONTEST

    DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES AND MUSIC: THURSDAY, MAY 25 *DEADLINE EXTEDNED*
  • Dance routines will be judged on creativity, originality, and crowd enjoyment.

    Please adhere to the following guidelines:

    • Performances will be limited to FOUR MINUTES. Any routine that exceeds this time restraint will be ineligible.
    • Please keep all entries appropriate in nature. Routines that contain suggestive material will result in disqualification.
    • Each Krewe is responsible for their music selection. Please make sure all music is clearly marked with your Krewe’s name. Appropriate formats include CD or MP3’s to be emailed to mdwest@fiestapensacola.org (per DJ’s preferences).
    • Entries and music are due before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 to the Fiesta Office or DJ’s email. The Fiesta office is located at 125 S. Alcaniz Street, Suite 1, Pensacola, FL 32502. Contact the office for further information: 850-433-6512.
    • A representative for each dance krewe must report to the DJ booth by 7:30 p.m. on June 8. Krewes will be given dancing order AT CHECK-IN and asked to report back to the stage at their assigned time. If all dancers are not present, Krewes will be asked to forfeit or dance without missing members. The first dance performance will begin at 7:45PM and continue throughout the evening. Dance times will be determined by how many Krewes sign-up to participate.
    • Throws of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification. Props are welcomed but, nothing that can be thrown into the audience at any point
    • Dance Competition is judged in the following categories: Musicality, Complexity, Style/Thematic Reference, Costumes, Rules, Crowd Involvement, Originality/Creativity
    • No member of any Krewe is allowed on the second floor balcony for any reason. If any Krewe member is caught on the second floor before/during/after your dance, for ANY REASON, your dance team will be *DISQUALIFIED*
  • I understand and agree to adhere to the guidelines stated above. I also understand that if any guideline is not adhered to, it will result in disqualification.

  • TABLE DECORATING CONTEST

    DEADLINE FOR CONTEST ENTRY: THURSDAY, MAY 25
  • For your Krewe to be eligible, you must reserve a one table (ten tickets).  Tables will be judged on the following: (1) Planning and Prep, (2) Organization & Neatness, (3) Theme Reflection, (4) Centerpiece, (5) Rules, (6) Decoration Type. Originality, creativity of table decorations, presentation and use of materials will also be considered. All entry forms received after Thursday, May 25 will not be considered for prize selection.

    There are three ways you may decorate your table:

    (1) Portraying your Krewe's overall theme: For example, Hip Huggers decorating to a 60s/Groovy theme or Krewe of Lafitte decorating to a Pirate theme

    (2) Portraying your Krewe's YEARLY theme, if your krewe changes themes on a yearly basis: For example, Krewe of Warriors decoraing to their 2023 theme of Harry Potter

    (3) Portraying the OVERALL Krewe Ball Theme: 80's REWIND

    *If you include the overall Krewe Ball theme (80's REWIND) in some capacity, no matter your decor type selection from above, you will recieve additional points.

    Please adhere to the following guidelines:

    • Each Krewe will be judged on the overall presentation.
    • ONLY FLAMELESS CANDLES ARE PERMITTED!
    • Absolutely NO SAND; glitter is permitted but highly discouraged.
    • Only blue marking tape is allowed on the floor.
    • NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED!
    • No electrical cords. Any mechanical devices must be battery operated.
    • No stereos or other sound equipment.
    • Please ensure your decorations are affixed to the top of the table(s) and will not fall over.
    • Decorations that extend past the width of the table OR impede the walkway will NOT be considered
    • Any decorations that are deemed inappropriate or insensitive will be disqualified and removed prior to the event.
    • NO WEAPONS ALLOWED. If weapons are a part of your table theme, they must be OBVIOUSLY fake and cannot be removed from your table at anytime during the evening. If a fake weapon is a part of your decor, it must be SECURED to your table for the entire evening.
    • Table Decoration is judged in the following categories: Planning/Prep, Organization/Neatness, Theme Reflection, Centerpiece, Rules & Decoration Type
    • Decorations cannot exceed 4.5ft in height
    • TABLE DECORATION TYPE - ADDITIONAL INFO: If it is apparent that your decoration is 100% DIY, you will receive the full 5pts on the score sheet. If it is apparent your decorations are partially homemade and partially rented, you will receive between 2-4pts on the score sheet. If it is apparent that you rented/contracted out your entire table decoration, you will receive 1pt for this category.
  • *KREWES ARE LIMITED TO TWO TABLES EACH*

    Due to the increasing interest in this event, currently each Krewe is limited to having/decorating TWO tables at the event. Although, Krewes are NOT limited to how many tickets they may purchase. Krewes must purchase at least 10 tickets to participate in the table decorating contest.
  • Tables will be either 8' rectangles or 5' rounds. If you have a preference, please select below. We will make every effort to accomodate

  • We will NOT be taking requests on table location OR changing your location during set-up on the day-of. NO EXCEPTIONS! Your assignment is made by the committee and won’t be changed. Your table placement is final, please do not ask!

    Should you have a request to be placed near another Krewe, please list that Krewe below. We cannot make any promises or guarantees, but we will make every effort to accommodate based on the number of requests we receive. 

  • Participating Krewes will gain access to the Hadji Shrine to decorate promptly at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the ball — Thursday, June 8. All decorating must be completed and Krewe members must vacate the venue no later than 2:30 p.m.

    I understand that the table decorations will be judged based on the theme of the Fiesta All Krewe Ball, not my individual Krewe’s theme and agree to adhere to the guidelines stated above.
