Parade lineup is in the BRC parking lot at 9 AM.

You will be assigned your entry number at check in.

The parade begins at 11 AM and

will end at the school parking lot.

All entry forms are due on June 09, 2025.
Decorations

This year we celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of Turtle Days!! Churubusco has been partying with Oscar for 75 years!!! We encourage all parade entries be decorated to celebrate this extra special year. This includes vehicles, floats and trailers excluding: radio stations, emergency vehicles, classic, new age, import, and car show cars. All walking and animal groups must have a sign or banner to let us know who they are. Extra points will be given for using the theme. Please have fun with this, and get your group together and get creative to make the best entries possible.

Performances

All entries are encouraged to be costumed and have an activity or routine to entertain the people along the route, stopping along the parade route for performing will not be permitted unless stopped by the judges for judging purposes. There is a maximum of 1.5 minutes for each performing group.

Weather

Rain or shine the parade will go on.

In the event of severe weather local emergency services will advise.

Spectator Safety

No items are to be thrown from float. If you choose to hand out things such as flyers, promotional items, and candy, etc. Please do so safely, and let the parade staff know on your entry form if you intend to do any of the aforementioned activities.

Trophies will be awarded for:
BEST PERFORMANCE
BEST OVERALL
BEST USE OF THEME
BEST VEHICLE (Classic/New)

Winners will be contacted by the telephone number provided by 1 PM Saturday, June 14. Trophies will be announced at the entertainment stage back at the park at 6 PM. Winners will also be recognized on our social media platforms i.e. Facebook and our website.
