TRIP INFORMATION
Dates: July 26-28, 2024
Leaders: Drs. Paul Bauer & Matthew Zimmerer, NMBGMR . They wrote the guidebook!
Limit: Minimum 8, maximum 13 registrants.
Registration Fee: $715 FCGS members / $735 non-members. This covers transportation from Durango and back, all meals, guidebook, rafts, guides and some camping gear.
Cancellation policy: Cancel by June 25th with refund of $690 for FCGS members and $710 non-members. (This is your payment minus our payment processing fee.) From June 26-July 20, refunds will only be issued if the vacated slot can be filled from the waiting list. All registration payments, minus our $25 processing fee, will be refunded if the trip is cancelled by FLOW or the FCGS. Contact David Schiowitz, below, to cancel.
Drop Dead Date: Trip will be cancelled on July 5th if minimum limit not reached.
Waiting List: After the participant limit is reached, people trying to register will get a message that the form is unavailable and to fill in the waitlist form instead. Waitlisted people will be contacted as cancellations occur. They have 24 hours to register or the slot is offered to the next person on the list.
Physical Activity Level: Participants should expect to take short hikes (1/2 mile) up side canyons in hot weather.
More Information: Participants will receive a pdf file from FLOW with their registration confirmation email. This file has detailed trip information as well as a gear list. A liability waiver and medical form will be sent to you later together with information on where and when to meet.
