📚 PRESERVATION: Historical Markers Research Opportunities

The Kingville Project is looking for volunteers to help research and preserve the our rich history similar tonthe Kingville/South Albemarle Community through our Historical Markers Initiative. If you’re passionate about history, this is your chance to contribute!

 

🕵️ Get Involved:

Oral Histories: Conduct and record interviews with longtime residents.

Document Research: Help explore historical documents, records, and archives.

Photo Collection: Gather and digitize historical photographs.

Storytelling: Write engaging descriptions for historical markers.

Board Member Responsibilities:

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-4 hours per month, including board meetings and organizational activities.

Attendance: Regular participation in monthly board meetings and planning sessions.

Support: Assist in organizing events, fundraising efforts, and community outreach programs.

NO PAYMENT REQUIRED however any & all CONTRIBUTIONS to Stanly Avengers, Incorporated are tax-deductible & will help further our cause to Support Uplift Promote Educate & Repeat positive change in your communities.
