  • iGeneration Youth offers college students an opportunity to apply their classroom learning in a professional multimedia production environment.

As a CTE-aligned internship in Media, Communications, and the Arts, this program is designed for students ready to refine their craft, expand their portfolios, and gain real-world experience. You’ll contribute to journalism, design, photography, video, and special projects that reach audiences across Pennsylvania and beyond.

We accept applications throughout the academic year. Apply by the 20th of the month, and if accepted, you’ll start as soon as the 1st of the next month.

Each internship requires 100 hours to complete.

    • 12-week internships take place during the academic year and are typically completed for school credit through your college’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) or internship office.

    • 6-week internships are offered during the summer and provide an intensive, full-time experience.

First-time interns earn school credit through their college or university. Returning interns who successfully complete a credit-based internship may be invited to continue in a paid, advanced role. Paid interns receive a $1,500 stipend upon successful completion of the program.

When completing your application, you’ll be asked to include contact information for your internship advisor, career counselor, or academic advisor who can approve your placement.

If our admissions team determines that you’re a good fit for the program, we’ll invite you to meet with us in person or by video. Admission decisions are typically emailed within one week of receiving your completed application.
