  • iGeneration Youth gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to put their classroom skills into action through our Career & Technical Education (CTE) internship program in Arts, A/V Technology & Communications.

As an intern, you’ll work on real projects, get published, and graduate with a portfolio that proves your talent to colleges and employers. Whether your interests are in journalism, multimedia, page design, photography, motion graphics, or communications technology, you’ll gain hands-on experience that prepares you for the world of work.

We accept applications throughout the school year. Apply by the 20th of the month, and if accepted, you’ll start as soon as the 1st of the next month.

Each internship requires 100 hours to complete.

    • 12-week internships take place during the school year and are typically completed for school credit through your CTE program.

    • 6-week internships are offered during the summer and provide an intensive, full-time experience.

First-time interns earn school credit through their CTE program. Returning interns who successfully complete a credit-based internship may be invited to continue in a paid, advanced role. Paid interns receive a $1,000 stipend upon successful completion of the program.

If you are under 18, you’ll be asked to include contact information for your parent or guardian, as well as your internship advisor, career counselor, or another academic advisor authorized to approve your placement.

If our admissions team determines that you’re a good fit for the program, we’ll invite you to meet with us in person or by video. Admission decisions are typically emailed within one week of receiving your completed application.
