The Arlington Chess Club (ACC) thanks you for your interest and participation in our tournaments and other chess events! Registering and paying in advance saves your time and that or our organizers. All players in good standing with the USCF including all students in public, private or home school, in any state, are welcome to participate in our chess tournaments.

TO REGISTER: Fill out the form below and submit payment using the secure payment website. Required information is indicated with a red asterisk (*). Registration is complete and your information is submitted to tournament organizers as soon as your payment is processed. You will receive a receipt by email showing payment. 

On-line registration is $60 until 12 midnight on Friday before the tournament. Thereafter, on-site registration for $70 is still available from 9:00-9:45am Saturday morning at the tournament.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to bring your own equipment (chess sets, boards and clocks) to all ACC events, as is normal for most USCF events.

All of our tournaments are USCF rated, which means that all players must be members of the U.S. Chess Federation to play. USCF Membership fees vary by age, starting at $54 for adults per year, with lower rates for youth and those over age 65.

Please provide accurate info so that if it is necessary we can quickly find you before/after the event for registration issues, refunds, prize payment, etc. Also, this information helps the TD quickly process entries and update USCF memberships.

Your contact info will never be shared with any other party.

PLAYER USCF INFO:

Players must be USCF members. If you are a new player or if your membership has expired, we can sign players up for 1 year regular memberships - see "Payment Info" section below. Alternatively, players can go to the USCF website.

New USCF members: enter "999" in each of the following fields.

TOURNAMENT INFO:

The only required information in this portion is which section you choose to play in. Players can select up to two 1/2 point byes for this tournament but are not required to do so.

NOTE: Players in the PREMIER Section must have a rating of at least 1600.

PAYMENT INFO:

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE: THIS IS THE ONLY REQUIRED PAYMENT. 

BIRTHDATES: Include a birthdate in the box above to qualify for any Youth or Senior memberships below.

Senior / Youth Memberships: These memberships (for any of ACC, USCF,  and/or Chess Life) are subject to age re-confirmation. Please include a birthdate for these rates in the appropriate box above.

ACC CLUB Memberships: Only select one ACC payment option (Adult, Senior or Youth). 

USCF Memberships: These payment options are not required. Only select a USCF Membership payment if your current membership has expired or will expire before you play in an ACC tournament/Ladder OR if you do not have a USCF membership. Only select one USCF payment option. 

** Chess Life (or Chess life for Kids): ** This is an EXTRA USCF PAYMENT option. Include payment for either of these options if you want to receive hard copies of Chess Life or Chess Life for Kids magazines by MAIL, rather than just accessing them online through the USCF website. You receive 12 issues for the regular magazine and 6 issues for the Kids version.
