Free Street Tree Requests
The East Brunswick Shade Tree Department is committed to providing free street trees to residents, especially those who have had trees removed due to damage, illness or township projects. The department plants 100 street trees a year, usually in the fall. Due to high demands for street tree requests we encourage residents to submit a Free Street Tree Request as soon as possible. We will reach out to residents a month or so before the planned planting to discuss the location of the tree(s) as well as species. If you decide that you no longer want the tree at that time, we can remove you off the list.
